At Santika Hotel Malang.
On November 2-4th I and some of students were invited by our Tourism and Hotel lecture, Mr Bambang Supriadi to join two seminars in D4, D3 Tourism Program, Merdeka University. We were very happy because our knowledge about Tourism and Hotel would be raising, brought the name of our Brawijaya Univesity and of course, It was free at all.

First, we must come together in Unmer at Bandung street number 1. This was our second day, our journey to visit two hotels in malang and Batu. We went to the first hotel in Malang, Santika Hotel by Zena Bus. Actually I was afraid that I would get sick land because I do not like to go to somewhere by bus or other land transportation. In fact, our journey was exciting and unforgetable.

We came to Santika Hotel. This hotel is one of Star Hotel in Malang. The Place looked so elegant and great! Before we saw every side of this Business Hotel, we were collected to enter the room where some businessman would ussually held a meeting. The name of that room was “Lontar”. The names comes from the name of leaves “ daun Lontar”. It seemed so traditional, right? Yes,… Santika likes to use some traditional names.

That was my friend who wore grey veil, Nikmah and I in front of Lontar room.


After We had some information from one of manager house Keeping of Santika Hotel, we came now to walk around this Santika Hotel. Woah,..It would be exciting, guys.


This is one of room in Santika Hotel. By the way this Hotel was supporting Go Green. When we walked around to visit every room here, we always found a go green card. This hotel showed that card to remind every guest. Yes,… I agreed with this action. From now we should keep our beloved world.



At Agrowisata Hotel Batu
The second Hotel was Agrowisata Hotel in Batu. The planning was not only surveying this hotel but also we would have a chance to pick two apples there. That was my first time ^^.
When we came to that place, we got lunch first. The food and beverage was so delicious and fresh.

This is place was very large and comfortable. Feels liked some important people, guys!
After we had our lunch, we were divided into two groups. We were in second group. We also got the same chance to observe that hotel. We learned about how guest do reservation, how about the operational and some cottages they said almost our president ever stayed there except Mr. Soekarno. Wow!!
Visiting Apple’s Garden
Yeah?! This was that I was always thinking along this journey. It was time to pick an apple by our hand selves. We walked around the many garden, such as, strawberry garden, vegetable garden, organic garden, guava garden and other garden but the largest garden was apple garden. We could see many various apples in this place, which one was Malang’s apple or Batu’s Apple. Oh,…They had some differences each other. I thought they were same. Hehehe….



Not far from those gardens, there were flower gardens. Not only sold various flowers but also sold the seed from those flowers.


That was a glance of my exciting story. I said it’s exciting because I felt exciting full. Thanks God, for let me to be one of real characters in my story. ^^
