Arie has done: Journey to Puhsarang (Gua Maria Lourdes) on Celebrating Christmas 2010

My Christmas was different in this time. Yap, because I made a devotional visit to a sacred place, Maria Lourdes cave (Puh sarang) in Kediri, East Java.
From Malang at 10.30, I, Abang (Phanie), and Bandit went to Kediri by train. We thought that the train will be quite empty because today was Christmas.In fact, the train was almost full. So, we had to stand up for one hour until we got some empty chairs.
Five hours later, we arrived to Kediri station. We separated with Abang because she had been picked up by her Uncle. Then, my sister came and we went to my brother in law's house (Koko's House).
The next day, we went to Puhsarang by motorcycle.
The journey was quite far from Pare - Kediri but personally I was very happy.

Puhsarang (Gua Maria Lourdes)

Puh sarang Church was located in Semen district which was about 10 km, west side Kediri, in Klotok mount, slope of Wilis mount. This was a sacred place for Catholics that had five facilities pilgrims, such as, an unique church, three Mother Maria’s stone, Cross street, Rosario’ cottage, and Maria Lourdes’s cave.
This church was built by Ir. Maclaine Pont, Dutchman that born in Batavia (now Jakarta). This man was interested in Majapahit’s Kingdom. As a result, this church was influenced by Majapahit’s.

Also there were some Cross Street which I had crossed.

Many ways to celebrate our great christmas, one of them was to take some time and go to some sacred place like I did (26 December 2010).
